1. The x-ray files are removed from the shelves and packaged by trained professionals to reduce the strain and stress on hospital personnel. Files are transferred to the FMP warehouse for storage and management.
2. X-ray files are entered into a data base upon arrival to the warehouse. A database of all files is provided for the hospital to ensure the reliability of the system. Misfiles are virtually eliminated with the data entry process.
3. X-ray files are managed as an active file system in a secured operations system meeting and exceeding HIPAA standards.
4. FMP has a longstanding reputation for accuracy and efficiency. Most files are located within minutes and can be transmitted directly to the hospital through a secure Broadband connection or have hard copies returned next day through package delivery services.
5. FMP will purge and destroy all files exceeding statutory retention schedules, with hospital verification, meeting all EPA hazardous materials guidelines, FACTA and HIPAA privacy protection standards.
